Kevin Mo, has placed 26th at the Junior World Championships in Belfast

The fencer we have been tracking, Kevin Mo, has placed 26th out of a strong field of 142 at the Junior World Championships in Belfast.  He came out of the pools at 57th, but continued to win his next DE’s. He faced number 72 Nuno Milharadas from Portugal with a victory of 10-6 and then fought hard against the 8th seed Luca Ferraris from Italy winning 15-13. He was then subdued by the Ukranian Yaroslav Ponomarenko with a loss of 12-15, but after beating Luca Ferraris I’m sure we can forgive him. :) His first World Championship tournament has yielded amazing results and we hope to see him there again next year with the continued direction from his coach, Tigran Shaginian. Great job Kevin!
